East of Nice, Villefranche-sur-Mer looks over one of the deepest bays on the coast to the wooded cape of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat; Beaulieu-sur-Mer sits on the far side. Between them are the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild and Villa Kérylos.
Villefranche
Lanes step down to the water; the bay is the view.
The cape
The coastal path, Paloma Beach, the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat and the Villa Ephrussi’s nine gardens.
Take the train to Villefranche or Beaulieu: parking is scarce.
Beaulieu
Villa Kérylos on its point, and La Réserve de Beaulieu.
